It’s that time where we have to bring our first season of Breaking Bad to a close which does seem incredibly weird as it feels like we just started! Which, given how short this season is, we sort of did! But as we always do in our of our TV show recap series, we are here to close out the season in style by going over it once more and bringing you some final thoughts on what is one epic season of television! Is there anything major we missed out that we need to go over again? Can we talk more about Walt with hair for one last time? Is this the most innocent season we’ll ever see? And how will our first top five break down given the limited amount of episodes? With so much to get to, it’s time to go over all the main bits and everything else in between in our season 1 recap of Breaking Bad!

At the end of each season, Ben & Nick will rank the season in order from their favourite to least favourite. After one season the standings are as follows:

RANK BEN NICK
1 Season 1 Season 1

Also at the end of each season, Ben & Nick will compile their favourite 5 moments and produce a video showing these moments. Sadly however the video has been blocked for copyright purposes, so our top 5 moments for season 1 are as follows:

  • 5 – The intervention scene (Episode 5 – Gray Matter)
  • 4 – The opening scene (Episode 1 – Pilot)
  • 3 – The body falls through the bathtub (Episode 2 – Cat’s In The Bag)
  • 2 – Walt blows up Tuco’s office (Episode 6 – Crazy Handful of Nothin’)
  • 1 – Walt kills Krazy-8 (Episode 3 – …and the Bag’s In The River)
